Collectively, their answer relate an unexpected story of hope.

What America Needs invites you to share your thoughts and feelings on our country by participating in our dialogue.

The Crew

These are the people who helped pull it all together.

Craig Baldwin

San Francisco fixer, experimental guru, taskmaster and devils'advocate.

Baldwin proved again that he is the Mission, he lives in the Mission and supports your mission. Even though He railed me on the question of WHAT AMERICA NEEDS, his help, and (under)grounding hostel support from the basement lodging in the ATA, was essential in getting the CASTRO and the MISSION this video. His constructive crique with filmmaker Matthew Day was: wise, thoughtful, honest and inspiring.

Thanks to the Artist Television Access for their help. For more info on Baldwin and his programming at ATA / Othercinema go to www.othercine@aol.com

Thad Povey

San Francisco Castro Chauffer, Experimental Film Attaache.

Halloween Pumpkin special FX, great friend from the Ann Arbor Film Fest. Thad and family helped ground my stay, during a choatic day of Halloween Karnival.

Alfoso Alvares

San Francisco fixer, experimental guide, trainspotter.

Optical film maven, great friend from the Ann Arbor Film Fest. AL helped pull my stay together in San Francisco.

Zimmerman House, Golden, Colorado

Hostel, TRAGER support, assistant editing.

The Zimmerman House has been a refuge while I have been in Denver. The men here have feed me, with 21st century BBQ. Steve has been a great guy to talk with, and his boys have been fun to work and play with. Robert has helped edit the Wisconsin rough cut. Their lodge has been very helpful for the project.

Juhl Wojahn

Camera, Fixer (guide) and project advisor.

Juhl is my scupltor cousin fro Colorado. I cannot tell y'all how cool it is to have a cousin in the arts. So he immediatley jumped on board when hearing I was going thru Denver. He has been critical to leading me around, showing me the hip places downtown, leading me around his suburban neighborhood, and into the youth gamer circles. I am very thankful for having Juhl as the cameraman and giving WAN a new look. As we walked around the neighborhoods, people cringed and feared that we were Jehovah witnesses. Little did they know we were asking about America, not for the salvation of their souls.

Pilar Gerasimo

Adoring Fan, Marketing CEO, Editor in Chief, Girl Friday, and Press Attache.

Pilar is the home office heart and voice of WHAT AMERICA NEEDS. In addition to supporting me spiritually and holistically , Pilar has been instrumental in how the project is percieved by the press and by foundations who may support WAN in the future. Our daily phone calls help me have a keen sense of where this project is and what is may need tomorrow. I can not tell y'all, what a mess I may have been in if it was for the support of Ms. Gerasimo.

Kathy Navis

Guide, Yoga teacher and seeker.

Kathy helped me discover Door Co. Wisconsin. She has been an invaluable guide for the area and the Yoga center she has built and runs is a prescious resource to the community. I don't know her website for it, but if you need to do yoga in Door Co. go and search in Google for Yoga/Door county and Junction Center will come up. Thx so much Kathy for your generosity and spirit.

Curtis Coleman, Judy and Little Kelli

Motorhome & moral support, co-interviewers.

Curtis, Judy and Little Kelli helped me out in spades in Virginia. We met at a mall in Fairfax, a day after the moday sniper shooting. From Fairfax, they adopted me and took me on the Coleman tour. We visited different schools were Curtis performed his folksongs of patriotism and personal safety, please visit his website, curtiscoleman.com we interviewed at reststops, campgrounds and restaurants. We spread thoughfulness and love. Thanks to you three for your suppport, for getting me to Charlottsville and for friendship, little Kelli for president!

Matt Bakkom

Fixer, (guide) for NYC and associate producer. Artist and sculptor.

Lives and works in New York City. Co - founder of NKU, the New Kinomatagraphic Union. Co-director of the What America needs - an Interior Expedition.

Steve Tenebrini

Web design & computer support.

Steve is the architect and artist behind the virtual What America Needs movie. Early in the pre-production it was Steve's idea that I actually could buy a laptop, download video into it and take it on the road. Consequentially, alot of people got to see the movie from a laptop, and others got to go online and check how I was progressing across the country. It was so great to meet with Steve and later I realized it was his inspiration that lead me to not be scared of computers and the world wide web. Visit him at his website squad19.com.

Pamela Waxman

Graphic designer: If the Shoe Fits graphic design.

Pamela is yet another friend I met at the Ann Arbor Film Festival (Go to film fests!!! You met great people!!!). She has been a huge help in this production. Besides her lovely aura, sweet persona and striking looks, Pamela has helped give What America Needs a polished graphic design. She designed the movie poster for the preview at the 41st Annual Ann Arbor Film Festival. Her latest design for the DVD label so impressed Steve Tennebrini that he incorporated it in the web design . So Pamela you rawk!!!
